Pico do Refúgio
Lodging
Pico do Refugio's lodgings are eight T1 houses (1 double bedroom), spread around two diferent areas of the farm.
These are either "Lofts" or "Apartments".
The Lofts are larger, with a high ceiling, and can take up to two extra beds. The Apartments are smaller houses that can take only one extra bed.
All our houses have bathroom, kitchen, cable TV and an outdoor locker to dry and stow diving or surf gear.
On the old tea factory, you can find the Loundge as well as three lofts and 3 apartments. About 800 meters away, on the top of the hill (pico), near the main mansion, there are another two lofts.
One of our houses is prepared for guests with physical challenges.
In the lounge we offer the following facilities: TV, phone, fax, photocopy, wireless internet, and meeting room with video projection.
In all our spaces, including the houses, we have art work from the atelier and gallery EA+. Part of this collection is for sale.
Animals:
- Throughout the farm we have several domestic animals, including dogs, cats and cows.
- Pets are not allowed
Tea factory:
1- Casa dos Tabuleiros
Loft with 86 sqm, one double bed and possibility of placing two extra beds, living room with fire place and kitchen, in open space
a large glazed arch, allows the garden light to invade the living room, and offers an excellent view of the estate.
2- Casa dos Tambores
Loft with 98sqm, one bedroom with a double bed and possibility of placing two extra beds.
Loft of great proportions, with two wide divisions, one of with with a mezzanine bedroom, the living room and the bathroom
in the second division there is a kitchen open to the living room and a second living room.
Both divisions have direct access to the garden.
3- Depósito de Chá
Loft with 72sqm, double bed and possibility of placing two extra beds, ideal for a couple with one or two children
Kitchen open to the living room and dinning room.
4- Casa da Caldeira
This coasy apartment has 55sqm, double bed and possibility of placing an extra bed.
Kitchen open to the living room with an excellent view over the garden and pool.
5 – Casa da Secagem
Apartment with 58sqm, double bed and possibility of placing an extra bed.
Kitchen open to the living and dinning room:
6- Casa do Pavão
This house was named after the former farm keeper, Sr. Pavão, that used to live there.
Apartmet with 64sqm, room with double bed and possibility of placing an extra bed.
Kitchen open to the living room.
On top of the hill, by the main mansion:
7- Casa de Baixo
Loft with 109sqm, room with double bed and possibility of placing two extra beds.
Ideal for one family, with a wide double room, and two more divisions, a kitchen with a dinning room and a large living room
private garden with dinning area .
8 – Casa dos Coches
Loft with 69sqm, double bed and possibility for placing two extra beds.
It is probably the most cosy loft, with large windows and a porch.
